The Last Viking

The Last Viking is a motif-based show that tells the story of a Viking clan’s decline through segmented vignettes, blending traditional Viking and sea shanties with iconic Led Zeppelin hits. Segment 1 introduces the Vikings and their character, while Segment 2 reflects on their history and laments being the last of their kind. Segment 3 is a percussion feature set to the famous drum groove from Led Zeppelin's "When the Levee Breaks," symbolizing the final battle that decimates the clan. The show concludes with an energetic closing segment, using "Stairway to Heaven" to represent the last Viking’s ascent to the heavenly realm. Designed for smaller bands but adaptable for larger ones.

• Led Zeppelin allows their music to be arranged for marching bands via a "gratis license" which means that there is NO FEE to arrange their music.  It may still be necessary to register the songs to obtain a license certifcate for your competitive circuit.  This can be done by registering the songs via tresonamusic.com or directly with the publisher.
