Parallel

Parallel is a story of two percussion ensembles living in parallel universes.  In a twist of fate the two universes align and the left universe spills into the right one.  The ensembles are weary of each other, but eventually they realize that they must work together, discover strength in unity, and fight to get back to their own worlds.

Performance Suggestions:

It is HIGHLY recommended that there be even numbers in the front ensemble and the battery percussion to create the desired effect of two identical percussion ensembles.  Check the instrumentation tab below for a recommended front ensemble instrumentation for each ensemble.  It is recommended that the front ensemble have some separation in the center of the floor to create this effect.  It is also recommended that each ensemble have their own unique uniform that matches the floor design (which should also reflect the two separate universes).
