Show Synopsis:

“Moving On,” tells the haunting yet uplifting story of a central character who is unaware that they have passed away. The show opens with Brian Tyler’s dramatic score from Thor: The Dark World, setting a cinematic and mysterious tone for their journey between life and death. As the narrative unfolds, they grapple with confusion and denial until the poignant strains of Kingdom Come by Imagine Dragons draw the audience into an emotional awakening. This powerful ballad becomes the moment of realization, when the character begins to understand the truth of their fate and the inevitability of letting go.

With a burst of energy, the production shifts into a virtuosic snare feature layered over the front ensemble quoting Dvořák’s New World Symphony, symbolizing the struggle and turbulence of acceptance. The emotional resolution arrives in the finale with Rascal Flatts’ I’m Moving On. As the isolated vocals echo through the arena, the character takes their final steps, fading away during the closing lyric, “I’m moving on.” In this breathtaking conclusion, the ensemble transforms a personal story of loss into a universal message of peace, acceptance, and transcendence—delivering both a technically brilliant and emotionally unforgettable performance.
