Helen of Troy

Helen of Troy is an epic marching band show that brings to life the legendary story of the woman whose beauty ignited a war. It begins with the majestic birth of Helen, introduced by Richard Strauss’ Wiener Philharmoniker Fanfare and the sweeping drama of James Horner’s Troy soundtrack, transporting the audience to ancient Greece. The tale unfolds as three suitors vie for her hand, portrayed through a haunting saxophone trio set to Saint-Saëns’ Danse Macabre. Paris, prince of Troy, ultimately captures Helen’s heart in a dreamy, seductive sequence featuring Eric Whitacre’s Fly to Paradise. The story culminates in the fiery chaos of the Trojan War, driven by a thunderous percussion feature and closing with a powerful rendition of Respighi’s Church Windows, leaving audiences breathless in the wake of myth, passion, and destiny.
