Show Synopsis:

Get ready to peek behind the curtain at the magic that goes into a performance! From Studio to Spotlight takes the audience through the exciting process of preparing for a show or music video, all set to the energetic anthem High Hopesby Panic! at the Disco. The journey begins in the studio, where musical fragments and skeletons take shape—bare melodies, stripped-down grooves, and rhythmic sketches that hint at the big reveal to come. As the ensemble pieces together the music, the audience gets to watch the creative foundation being built right before their eyes.

The second act shifts focus to visuals, as the performers move through a slowed-down ballad version of the final song. They experiment with stylized choreography, gradually layering in elements of hair, makeup, and stage presence as the anticipation builds. Then, the lights come up and the full transformation bursts onto the floor. In the final segment, the music is complete, the visuals are vibrant, and the ensemble shines with high-energy flair as a camera crew films their performance like a real music video. By the end, the audience sees not just the polished product, but also the joyful work and preparation it took to get there—a fitting story for a show that medaled at WGI Percussion Independent A Class Finals in 2025.
