Show Synopsis:
Segment 1: Birth of Helen
As the sun rises over the ancient city of Troy, the audience is transported back in time to witness the majestic birth of Helen, the face that launched a thousand ships. With the resounding echoes of Richard Strauss' "Weiner Philharmoniker Fanfare," the stage is set for the grandeur of this legendary tale. The air crackles with anticipation as the music builds to a crescendo, heralding the arrival of the most beautiful woman in the world.
The music seamlessly transitions into the powerful strains of James Horner's "Troy" soundtrack, evoking the splendor and drama of ancient Greece. With each note, the audience is drawn deeper into the mythic world of gods and heroes, setting the stage for the epic journey to come.
Segment 2: Three Suitors
Enter the three suitors, each vying for Helen's hand in marriage. As the spotlight falls on a trio of saxophonists, the haunting melody of Camille Saint-Saëns' "Danse Macabre" fills the air. The saxophones weave a mesmerizing tapestry of sound, representing the passion and desire that burns within each suitor's heart.
Segment 3: The Seduction of Paris
But it is Paris, the daring prince of Troy, who steals Helen away from her rightful suitors. With the ethereal beauty of Eric Whitacre's "Fly to Paradise," the audience is transported to a world of enchantment and desire. The music swells and soars, mirroring the intoxicating allure of forbidden love as Helen surrenders herself to Paris' embrace.
Segment 4: The Trojan War

A thunderous percussion feature shakes the ground as the Trojans flood out of the iconic Trojan horse, ready to defend their city to the last breath. The tension builds, the drums pounding like the heartbeat of a nation at war.
And as the final battle reaches its climax, the band unleashes a triumphant rendition of Ottorino Respighi's "Church Windows" movement 4.
