SHOW SYNOPSIS:

Incandescent is a show loosely follows the progression of the light bulb. The show begins with an arrangement of Alexander Glazunov's "Chant du Menestrel". This opening section showcases the awe and wonder of the first incandescent light bulb. With a theremin based transition, we dive into the world of neon! Utilizing a Solo Electric Viola along with some vibrant and electrifying musical selections this section is sure to get the crowd on their feet. With a quick percussion transition the show transitions into the current time featuring LED lights. A quick dance break utilizes the hook from Billie Eilish's "Bad Guy" (Additional Copyright Licensing Required). After that moment the show resolves with an exhilarating mashup of Bad Guy and Chant du Menestrel. The show is perfect for younger ensembles and sets them up well for lots of visual movement and imagery that makes this perfect for the indoor winds idiom.
